Committee member (volunteer)
We are seeking to recruit a new individual to join the board, who shares our vision for building a strong, diverse and inclusive music community in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of a youth-focused, emerging arts organisation. GR!C was established in 2015, with its first program running in January 2016 at Ainslie Arts Centre, and incorporated as a not-for-profit organisation in 2019.
Now, in 2025 we are louder than ever, and we’re hoping our new committee member will be there to help us shape the new era of GR!C.
This position is open to people of marginalised gender identities. This includes women (trans and cis), gender-diverse folk and trans-men. We recognise that gender is self-identified, and that there is a variety of language people may use to best express their experience of gender. Our vision is to have a board that is a reflection of both our GR!C community and the wider Canberra community, and we strongly encourage and prioritise applications from people with diverse identities and lived experiences.
